Bhagaban JayasinghaBhagaban Jayasingh (b.1952), an eminent bilingual writer, who writes both in Odia and English, has published several collections of poetry and prose. Black Eagle Books of America has brought out The Dapples of Darkness, an anthology of his poetry andFoot Prints of Fire, a translation of seventy four contemporary Odia poets. Dr. Jayasingh has also published Door to Despair, a critical work on modernism in Odia poetry. He edited an anthology titled 1950 Parabarti Odia Poetry for Sahitya Akademi. He also guest-edits 'Konark', Odisha sahitya Akademi's biannual journal in English.
