Betty R RobinsonBetty R. Robinson has spent much of her career making science engaging and accessible for young learners. As an educational science developmental editor, she has worked on textbooks in physics, chemistry, biology, space, and Earth sciences for the elmentary and high school levels. That experience, and her love of sharing how science connects to everyday life, inspired Betty to write science stories for kids. The other books in her Elizabeth series are Elizabeth Goes to Mars!, Elizabeth's Enlightening Day at the Zoo, and Elizabeth's First Total Solar Eclipse, which received the 2025 Simon Newcomb Award from The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Each story combines curiosity, fun, and scientific discovery in ways that spark imagination. She lives in Mississauga, Ontario, with her husband of more than forty years; they have one adult daughter, who is also named Elizabeth. Betty spends her free time exploring astronomy, baking, cooking, reading, dancing, and travelling. You can connect with Betty at www.bettyrrobinson.ca or https: //linktr.ee/elizabethseries Read More Read Less
