Betty LinenMy name is Betty Jean Linen Campbell. I was born in Georgetown, South Carolina. I was brought up as a Baptist. My siblings and I attended, Mt. Olive Baptist Church. We were always in attendance for Sunday School. My dearest mother Ms. Elizabeth Green would always say, If you didn't have time to serve God, you don't have time to go outside and play. At the age of fourteen, my Cousin Jannie Bryant brought me to Brooklyn, New York. As newly resident in New York, My main goal was to help my family and get an achieving education. I always kept busy working, baby sitting and exploring the wonderful city of New York. As of today at the age of 69, I have five wonderful children and seven grandchildren.
