Betty BobbittBetty Bobbitt was born in New York, raised in Philadelphia, and trained as an actor in Los Angeles. In 1962 she was offered a television role in Australia and since then she has been a full-time actor, frequent teacher, obsessed writer and occasionaldirector. She has received two acting awards from the Television Society of Australia for her work in the long-running series Prisoner, and was nominated in the Best Director category at the Green Room awards for a production of Dan Goggin's Nunsense.
