Bette B. KeyserDr. Bette Benewich Keyser, during her career of 31 years, taught health education at all educational levels. Her tenure at Illinois State University began in 1975 when she served as the first health educator for the ISU K-8 Metcalf Laboratory School. She developed, implemented and coordinated the health education program. During the remaining years she assumed many roles/capacities in the undergraduate Health Education Program, including Coordinator of Professional Practice and Student Teaching. Dr. Keyser received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education at Illinois State University, Master’s Degree in Health and Safety at University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign) and Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Illinois State University.
