Beth Nanson

Beth NansonBeth was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada. She spent her childhood in Gibsons and then jumped between Gibsons and Vancouver while completing her post-secondary education at the University of British Columbia. She admis she has never written a book before, but felt this story was too important not to share. She feels passionate not only about revealing the true sickness of addiction and mental health, but in being a support to others enduring their own traumas. She has a good understanding of emotions such as heartbreak, grief, and loss, and doesn't want anyone to feel alone in whatever mental spiral they find themselves in. She hopes this book can be a tool for awareness, understanding, and a sense of coming together in support for those who need it. Beth is now back living on the Sunshine Coast after several years in Vancouver. She is a successful dietitian, working out of three interdisciplinary clinics as well as running her own private practice. She is currently working to co-publish a paper on Traumatic Brain Injuries. And after years of therapy, she is learning to re-balance the things in her life that bring her joy; family, friends, relationships, career, athletics, and adventure Read More Read Less
