Beth HodderBeth Hodder worked for the U.S. Forest Service for over 25 years, almost entirely with the Flathead National Forest in Montana. After retiring in 2004, she began writing middle grade mysteries. Her first book, "The Ghost of Schafer Meadows" won an Inependent Publisher Book Award. "Stealing the Wild" won a WILLA Literary Finalist Award, a Moonbeam Children's Book Award, and a Purple Dragon Fly Award. An avid hiker, she also enjoys traveling and spending time with friends.
