Bernard Thornton
Bernard was born in Scotland to a Scottish father and a German mother. He has lived in New Zealand for most of his life apart from travel to Germany, the UK and the USA. He is a graduate of the University of Otago (Geography) and the Auckland Uniersity of Technology (Creative Writing). His first novel, Schist, was published in New Zealand and he has had poetry published in various journals. Bernard enjoys teaching, reading, photography and hiking. He lives in Christchurch, New Zealand with his wife.
