Bernard S MeyerBernard S. Meyer graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1936 and from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1938. In 1941, he joined the General Counsel of the U.S. Treasury. From 1943 to 1946 he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacifi Theater of Operations. After the war he began practicing law in 1947 in New York. In 1958 he was elected to a fourteen-year term on the New York Supreme Court. He was Associate Judge of the New York State Court of appeals from 1979 to 1986. He also practiced law with the firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English &Klein, of Mineola, New York.
