He specializes in the consequences of climate change, such as extreme weather events and climate effects on biodiversity. Benjamin also works as the vice editor-in-chief for Klimareporter°, the leading German online magazine on climate change, which he also cofounded; and he was awarded the German Environmental Media Prize in 2016.
