Benjamin BuschBenjamin Busch was born in Manhattan in 1968 and grew up in rural New York. He is an actor, writer, filmmaker, and photographer. After graduation from Vassar College, where he majored in studio arts, he served sixteen years as an infantry and ight armored reconnaissance officer in the United States Marine Corps, deploying to Iraq in 2003 and again in 2005, where he was wounded in the battle for Ramadi. Busch played the role of Officer Anthony Colicchio on the HBO series The Wire and has appeared on Homicide, The West Wing, and Generation Kill and was the writer/director of the award-winning films Sympathetic Details and BRIGHT as well as an actor and military consultant on the HBO miniseries Generation Kill.
