Ben L FernandezPrior to teaching the legal drafting course at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Prof. Fernandez spent many years teaching a variety of different legal writing courses. These courses included Legal Methods (Legal Analysis), Lawyering Prcess for Litigation Practice (Drafting Persuasive Memoranda), Legal Research and Objective Writing (Drafting Objective Memoranda), and Transactional Drafting (Contract Drafting) while teaching at the Florida Coastal School of Law. Before that, Prof. Fernandez taught Legal Research and Writing at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. He also taught a Business Law course at Cape Cod Community College. Prof. Fernandez practiced law for thirty years. He has an A.B. from Cornell University, a J.D. from Northeastern University Law School and an LL.M. from Boston University School of Law.
