Becky MonroeBecky Monroe is a lifelong resident of Yorktown, as were four generations before her. Monroe gained her interest in local history from listening to her grandmother tell stories of her youth. John Shideler graduated from Burris Laboratory School in Mucie. Many of his mother's family members are native to the Yorktown area. He joined the Yorktown-Mt.
