Barry SanfordBarry Alan Sanford was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1950. He attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Engineering, graduate school at Portland State University, The Chapman School of Seamanship and the Oregon Health Scieces University, receiving degrees in Cytology and Geologic Engineering. He has worked as an electron microscopist, research assistant, fiber-optic construction manager, day laborer, boat builder, waste water sanitarian and geologic consultant.
