Barry Rosenstein

Barry RosensteinDr. Rosenstein is Professor of Radiation Oncology, and Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA. He holds a PhD in radiation biology, and has taught a 50-hour course in Radiation Biology for the past 41 ears which is attended by the radiation oncology residents from 10 programs, representing approximately 15% of the radiation oncology residents in the US. Beyond teaching this course, Dr. Rosenstein has also served on the Radiation Oncology/Radiation Biology committee of the American Board of Radiology for over 20 years. Beyond that, Dr. Rosenstein served as the chair of the Radiation/Cancer Biology Teaching Committee of ASTRO for 7 years, during which time he created and served as editor-in-chief of the ASTRO Radiation/Cancer Biology Practice Examination and Study Guide, which continues to be an important resource for both radiation oncology residents and teachers of radiation biology.
