Barbara's life-journey led her from a Chicago childhood to a Hollywood career in story development where she worked with A-list Hollywood talent, TV networks and studios. While learning to balance her own life and raise a world-traveling daughter with her husband of 40+ years Glenn Schiffman (also a writer and spiritual coach), Barbara's had numerous exhilarating experiences. She completed marathons (despite hating to exercise), walked on hot coals with Tony Robins, and taken countless leaps of faith. She also co-founded the first Toastmasters Int'l chapter in Los Angeles CA designed to help writers become better speakers.
