On her arrival, she was surprised by the quiet that surrounded Perth and the lack of networking opportunities in Western Australia at that time. Barbara saw this as an opening to help incorporate a big city mentality into a small town and launched a networking and fundraising events in 2002. Barbara is also the host and producer of the Hello Darlink!
