Barbara MaitraBarbara grew up and was educated in Sheffield, England. She married an Indian national and moved to India, where she lived for 15 years while also pursuing further education. She returned to the UK in 1970 and worked as a civil servant. On retirement she was a volunteer in the education part of the National Trust at Chirk Castle for 10 years.
