Barbara L MackoffDr. Barbara Mackoff is a consulting psychologist, author and leadership educator with a strong focus on the demands of nursing practice. She is a visiting professor at the Adelphi University School of Nursing in New York and a core faculty member of he Nurse Management Fellowship program of The American Association of Nurse Executives She was the principal investigator of a national research study of Nurse Manager Engagement funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She is on the faculty of The University of Colorado's Rocky Mountain Leadership Program and has been a scholar in residence at both Massachusetts General Hospitaland Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston. Her bold approach to leadership is in demand by healthcare organizations across the country including The National Organization of Nurse Executives, The Nursing Leadership Academy, The National Association of Healthcare Executives, Baylor Healthcare, US Healthcare, Providence Hospital, University of Washington Hospital, AtlantiCare, Portland Children's Hospital, Jackson Hospital, Baltimore Franklin Square Hospital, Houston Methodist Hospital, and the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
