Barb OwenBarb Owen is a retired elementary school teacher and businesswoman. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, and received her Washington State Elementary Teacher's certificate in 1965. A Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native, Owe moved to Washington State and taught in Kittitas area schools for 26 years. She managed Ellensburg Pottery, and more recently, began to write professionally.
