Barb McCrearyBarb McCreary is a retired elementary school teacher and librarian. She moved from Richmond, Virginia, to Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina, in 2015. She is grateful for the opportunity to live in a maritime forest surrounded by its beauty. Her hobbis include learning about the history and culture of Eastern North Carolina. She is a former board member of Carteret Writers, a past president of The Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library, and currently volunteers at The History Museum of Carteret County.
