Azza Adel HassanDr. Azza Adel Hassan completed her medical education in 1986 at Alexandria University, Egypt. She obtained her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Oncology. She received certification from the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (BHPM) in 2003. Currently, she is Program Director of Supportive and Palliative Care Unit at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar.? Before joining NCCCR, she worked as an Assistant Consultant for Palliative Care Medicine at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Reseach Center (KFSHRC) for six years.

Dr. Azza has several publications in the field of Clinical Oncology and Palliative Medicine in peer-reviewed Journals. She is an active member of the Supportive And Palliative Care Working Group of European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), ESMO Palliative Care Working Group, Middle East Cancer Consortium (MECC) and MASCC (Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer).
