Prior to that he worked as Assistant Professor at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra and slamic University of Science and Technology Awantipora for over 8 years. Dr. Jameel has been actively involved in teaching and research for the past 10 years in the areas of advanced computational mechanics, fracture and fatigue in structures, large elasto-plastic deformations and experimental solid mechanics.
