Azar Naveen SaleemDr. Azar graduated in medicine from Raji Gandhi University of Health Science (Al-Ameen Medical College) in India. In 2013, he joined Hamad Medical Corporation as a resident in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He made significan contributions in his short time in the department, being one of the core participants in drafting the first Rehabilitation Strategy in Qatar. He also co-authored Qatar's first proposal for the establishment of Traffic Medicine, which was presented in International Traffic Medicine Association conference (Berlin,2013). He took up a fellowship program in Palliative Medicine from National Centre for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR), HMC, Qatar. After completing the fellowship in Palliative Medicine, he joined as the Associate Consultant in NCCCR.
