Avigail GraetzBorn in Israel 1975 to American parents, Graetz has a B.A & M.F.A in film and a M.F.A in creative writing. Avigail is on the Dharma path since 2004 and started teaching mindfulness meditation in 2009 in prison than continued teaching Dharma in many frms all over the world. She volunteers with cancer patients and uses the Buddhist teaching to support any encounter with sorrow and grief as well as joyous moments. She wrote, directed and produced seven short films and one play titled 'In Case I'm Not Around' based on the life of her friend and teacher Yael Simha Pazuelo that died from cancer in 2013. Her film ""Just This"" wan the best international film award at the Burbank film festival, September 2023. Graetz published an award-winning novel in Hebrew translated to English in 2017, titled 'A Rabbi's Daughter'.
