Augusta credits her parents, Doshie and Willie Hunter, as the two most influential persons who pointed her to Christ andencouraged her to be a woman of excellence and integrity.At age 8, Augusta surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and immediately began to serve wherever shecould. No opportunity was too small or menial. One of her personal mottos is, "If you're tooimportant for a small task, you're too small for an important task." Over the past 52 years, herKingdom service has included outreach ministry volunteer, Christian Education director, associatepastor, and lay counselor. She continues to travel throughout the country, speaking for conferencesand retreats. In recent years, a significant emphasis of her ministry has been serving widowed womenand men. Her passion and compassion for the grieving stems from her own losses, includingthe passing of her husband, Clarence, in 1999.Augusta is a retired Speech-Language Pathologist and professional mentor. She often says Jesus cleverlyled her into ministry through her profession. In addition to her professional credentials, Augusta hascompleted extensive training in Biblical Studies, Christian counseling, and life coaching.Augusta currently lives in Ohio.
