Atheer AwadDr. Awad, a research fellow at University College London (UCL), uses 3D printing to rethink how drugs are manufactured to account for individual patients' needs. Using computer-aided design software, she created 3D medicines with Braille patterns anddifferent shapes to help visually impaired patients. She has also created personalized dosages, such as combining multiple medications within pellets to simplify administration.
