(Hons.) degree in mechanical engineering from Newcastle University, UK, and PhD degree on impact and fatigue properties of natural fiber composites from Swansea University, Swansea, UK. His area of research is biocomposite. He is particularly interested in the mechanical performance and the effects of various environments on the properties of these materials. He has published 12 peer reviewed journal articles, written 10 book chapters and edited one book as single editor.
