Ashok MohantyAshok K. Mohanty (1951) has been active in the field of translating Odia short stories, novels, autobiographies, travelogues, plays and cookbooks for more than twenty years. He has translated the works of several luminaries of Odia literature such asChandrasekhar Rath, J.P.Das, Binapani Mohanty, Bibhuti Pattanayak and Sitakant Mahapatra. Three of his short story collections translated into English have been published by Central Sahitya Akademi and one by the National Book Trust.
