Ashley BordersAssociate Professor of Psychology at The College of New Jersey, and research affiliate with the War Related Illness and Injury Study Center at the VA Medical Center in East Orange, NJ. Her research focuses on exploring the causes and consequences of umination. Using both cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-focused therapies, she applies her and others' empirical findings to help clients suffering from maladaptive rumination. She has published her findings in various peer-reviewed psychology journals.
