Dr. Loughan is committed to a career in neuro-oncology and conducts practice-changing cancer prevention and control research aimed to improve patients cognitive and psychological outcomes. She has demonstrated a strong record of internal and external funding, focused on understanding and improving quality survival of those challenged by brain tumors. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 9 invited book chapters, and produced 100+ abstracts at local, national, and international academic conferences.
