Ashlee FulmerAshlee Fulmer grew up with her dad telling her bedtime stories about a giant, sweet gorilla who helped his animal friends resolve funny predicaments. After receiving a degree in biomedical engineering from Georgia Tech and then attending medical schol at UAB, she decided to turn these stories into a series of children's books. These days, when she's not doctoring on patients (as her children say), she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, taking her two kids to the park, reading, and snuggling with Harvey dog. Ashlee and her family live in Birmingham, Alabama.
