Arthur S ChancellorMr. Chancellor began his law enforcement career in 1974 with the US Army Military Police, he eventually transitioned to the Army CID in 1981 as a Special Agent working felony investigations. He remained in CID for 20 years. He became a supervisor in 986 when he was appointed as a warrant officer and later commanded three large CID Detachments and finished his army career as an Operations officer responsible for five CID Detachments. Upon retirement in 2001, he accepted a position with the Mississippi State Crime Laboratory as a Senior Crime Scene Analyst responsible for conducting homicide crime scene examinations throughout the state. In 2004 he transferred to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) where he developed and supervised the MBI Cold Case Unit responsible for assisting police agencies across MS in resolving old homicide cases. In 2008 he accepted employment back with the US Army CID where he now works as a civilian Supervisory Special Agent and Assistant Operations Officer. He has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Oklahoma City University and is a Graduate of the FBI National Academy. He has developed numerous investigative training courses and has taught courses across the United States in Basic and Advanced Crime Scene Examination, Homicide and Advanced Homicide, Cold Case Investigations, Basic and Advanced Sex Crimes, and Staged Crime Scenes. He co-developed the International Forensic Science Academy (IFSA) at the University of Southern Mississippi, and has taught at the College Level as an adjunct instructor at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN, University of Mississippi, Oxford MS, and Clayton State University, Marrow Ga.
