Arnab K DebArnab K. Deb is Assistant Professor at the International Management Institute, Delhi. He holds doctorate in economics from University of Connecticut, Storrs. He earned his BSc (Honours) and MSc degrees from University of Calcutta. Hi research interest includes applied microeconomics, data envelopment analysis, mathematical economics and applied econometrics.He has around eight years of experience in teaching and research. He has worked on 'District Level Monitoring of All Programs of Ministry of Rural Development, India' project, funded by Ministry of Rural Development, and World Bank-sponsored project 'Moving Out of Poverty: Growth & Democracy'. He has also worked on a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded project 'Economic and Social Rights: Obstacle or Handmaiden to Growth?' Presently, he is working on an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR)-funded project on evaluating the performance of Indian manufacturing sector. He has attended and presented multiple research papers, both at national and international conferences.He has received multiple fellowships and awards in his career. He has been awarded the 'Pre-doctoral Fellowship' and 'Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship' by University of Connecticut, USA.
