Armondo CollinsDr. Collins is a writer and African American studies scholar who lives in Greensboro, NC. He holds a Ph.D. in English Rhetoric and Composition, with an emphasis in African-American and African Diaspora studies. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Prfessor in African American and African Diaspora Studies, and the Department Head of The Digital Media Commons in Jackson library at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His academic writing includes The Media Assault on the Black Male, which appears in the recently released The Handbook of Research on Black Males (Michigan State University Press, 2019).
