Arland WeeksArland D. Weeks (1871-1936) was a professor of education, and later dean of education at North Dakota Agricultural College (today North Dakota State University). Though he identified himself as a conservative in some works, he was expressly a believe in all progress being tied to proper public education, and that civic conscience must be shaped by such education. In 1910 he co-founded Fargo's Commons Club, to discuss current events of public interest.
