Anthea M MasekaAnthea Maseka was a teacher for many years, and she still enjoys working with children whenever she has the opportunity. An avid reader and a passionate writer, she keeps a journal that she updates almost daily. She was inspired to write Mama, My Her by witnessing her daughter-in-law, who was expecting her first child during the COVID-19 pandemic, while working as an ICU nurse, and the bravery and determination she displayed.

Maseka has written three works of fiction, including Chembe-I Am a Warrior, which she co-authored with her sister. The book was published in Zambia, Africa, in 2019.
