Anthea L MatleyAnthea Matley was born in Port Moresby and grew up on a rubber plantation on the Sogeri Plateau, Papua New Guinea, immigrating to Australia in 1968.She obtained a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing through the Kangan Institute, Bendigo, Victria. She studied part-time while revegetating a 40acre property at Faraday.As part of her course work, Anthea assisted in producing and self-publishing an anthology of student's writing. In 2014 Anthea, again with a team, produced and published Kidnapped by Time, a history of the Faraday area. She has written short stories and poetry, and Planting Memories is her first creative non-fiction book.
