Anne Pabelfter receiving a BA in English and History from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (Germany) in 2011, my postgraduate education took me to Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Here, I completed a BA Hons before graduating withan MA by dissertation in English Literature in 2014. I received my PhD in English Literature in 2020, and my doctoral research focused on trauma in women's writing from the global South. During my postgraduate studies, I taught literature, writing and German language classes at Nelson Mandela University. My research interests include life writing as well as trauma and memory studies. I also have professional experience in translation and live interpretation in court as well as in administrative support of international projects. As an editor, I have successfully worked on master's theses, doctoral dissertations, journal articles, blog posts, fiction, and memoir.
