Anne Michelle LawrenceDuring the past twenty years, Anne Michelle Lawrence, Ph.D., has taught writing to children, adolescents, and adults, including multilingual writers. She has also worked as a writing teacher educator for prospective and practicing elementary, seconday, and college writing teachers. Dr. Lawrence is the incoming Co-Director of the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project, a local site of the National Writing Project, a nonprofit professional-development organization for teachers of writing. Dr. Lawrence's research focuses on how writing supports curiosity, creativity, and collaboration for community action.
