Anna Raisa FavaleAnna Raisa Favale is an Italian director and screenwriter. She studied directing and writing for theatre at the National Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio D'Amico" in Rome and then specialized in directing and writing for cinema in South Africa, at AFD. She has a degree in Pedagogy and Education Science from Roma Tre University and has a master's degree in Peace Building from San Bonaventura in Rome. Anna Raisa has worked for many years in different fields, such as prisons, refugee camps, and mental health centers, using theater as a tool for mediation. She worked in Israel and in the Occupied Palestinian Territories filming documentaries and worked in South Africa for cinema production companies. For two years, she directed a small Catholic Italian-American WebTV in Manhattan called TeleMATER and then served for seven years as the art director of Aleteia's Video Department.
