She was born in England, in a town called Leicester. After her school days, she worked for a while in England. She worked as a dress-maker and part-time nanny.
While she was in Englan, one of her jobs was being a nanny. She loved writing stories for the children. Then she travelled to Australia - where she lives now. She went to university to become a bookkeeper.
