Jatana has 45 years of experience n the field of nutrition. She was the recipient of the Scroll of Honor, awarded for 'professional achievement in Lady Irwin College' for her outstanding contribution in the field of Dietetics and the Lifetime Achievement Award given by the Lady Irwin College Alumni Association for her dedicated contributions in the field of dietetics in 2023. Jatana is also a certified diabetic educator with expertise in European Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Life Long Learning courses on renal, critical care, parenteral, cancer, liver, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), pulmonary and certificate on Fodmap Diet from Monash University. She has also presented more than a hundred scientific papers at various platforms, contributed chapters to multiple books and has edited the book-Apollo Clinical Nutrition Handbook.
