Angelina DunbarAngelina Dunbar grew up on the little island of Cebu, in the Philippines. She lived with her parents, six siblings, and her lola (grandmother). Her lola told them stories of Filipino mythology, ancient creatures, and mystical realms which charged heraffinity for fantasy and mystery. With high spirits for adventure, she joined the U.S. Military and traveled the world. Throughout the years, her lola's stories inspired her to write books for children. After settling in Florida, she wrote Tina and the Giant: The Borrower's Cave, Bodbod's Ghosts, and the Hugz and His Friend Bugz preschool books: Numbers and Counting, Like Colorful Things, and Fantastic Alphabet Closet.
