She was born in the Barossa Valley, came back to be married and has lived there ever since. Angela has long been involved in keeping localhistory alive. As a teacher-librarian in local schools, she has collected materials and taught children about the history of their local area. She and food consultant Maggie Beer were founding members of an oral history group that took a tape recorder into people's homes and recorded their reminiscences, many of which were about food.
