They have acquired a deep appreciation for te Dutch and their country as well as an understanding of their culture. Their cruising has also included forays into France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, including cruising on the Rhine. Gwen was a late convert to the pleasures of boating, who assured Andy on a first date that she was seasick on the Woolwich Ferry. Somehow Gwen found herself talked into married life, including a Fairline Mirage based on the Thames in the 1980s from which grew a shared enthusiasm with Andy.
