Andrew TidmarshThe author spent many years travelling the globe, trouble-shooting property and facilities management issues for a large Anglo-American corporation, specialising in the Middle-East and Africa before moving to Asia for 5 years. Writing has always beena passion and this book came about after he took up the mantle offered by his cousins to follow up on a family tree started by his Aunty. This book is the result of that task and one that he found both fascinating and emotional. This is a niche book that will mean a lot more to family than the general public, but like all of our personal stories, it draws in people and events that shape us, one way or another. He has previously written a book of poetry and is currently working on a book of photographs and anecdotes from his travels around the world. He will soon be working on a travel book, which will be based on a journey in Central Asia, following a section of the Silk Road to retrace the adventures of a childhood hero. He is a proud OAP, married with two grown up children, plays the Drums and loves family trees. Read More Read Less
