Andrew JeremiahAndrew Jeremiah, PhD, leads the Human Resources Management Section in the Department of Governance and Management Sciences, in the Faculty of Commerce, Human Sciences, and Education at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). He overses the section's teaching and learning, and research activities of the section. Andrew has served NUST for the past 11 years as a Human Resource Management lecturer and doubles up as a researcher and research coordinator. He has been actively involved in the crafting, designing and implementation of new programmes such as Honours degrees in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations, and the master's degree in human resource management at NUST. Before joining NUST, Andrew served as a Programme Manager in the Department of Higher Education - TVET Section in South Africa, in Cape Town. He also served as a Training and Development Manager at Olivine Industries and Cairns Foods Limited respectively, in Harare in Zimbabwe. Before this, he had served as a Training Officer in the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management in Harare, and as a High School Teacher under the Ministry of Education and Culture, where he also served as a National Chief Examiner for African languages at Ordinary Level. Andrew holds a Doctorate in Human Resource Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), Diplomas in High School Teaching and Human Resource Management from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) and the Institute People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) respectively.
