Andreas ÅkerlundAndreas Åkerlund (b. 1977) is Associate Professor of History at Uppsala University, Sweden. His thesis (2010) was a study of Swedish lecturers at German universities in 1906-1945, and he has published extensively on Swedish-German academic contacts uder the Nazis, the history of national images and language teaching, and, more recently, Swedish public diplomacy and academic scholarships and exchanges.
