Andreas MetzgerAndreas Metzger is senior academic councilor at the University of Duisburg-Essen and heads the Adaptive Systems and Big Data Applications group at paluno, the Ruhr Institute for Software Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the Techncal University of Kaiserslautern. His background and research interests are software engineering and machine learning for self-adaptive systems. Among other leadership roles, he was technical coordinator of the European H2020 lighthouse project Transforming Transport and work package leader in the H2020 ENACT project.
